- On "Itsukaichi-Kaido" Road, a bit to the west of "Zenpukujigawa Ryokuchi Koen" Park, in front of "Itsukaichi Kaido Eigyosho" bus terminal of "Kanto Bus". Narita-Nishi, Suginami-ku. Take a bus to "Itsukaichi Kaido Eigyosho" from Shin-Koenji Station (Subway Marunouchi Line) or from some other stations including Kichijoji and Nakano (JR Chuo Line).

- Noodles are manufactured at the shop. Re-opened a few years ago.

Basaraka
- From Harajuku Station (JR Yamanote Line), walk down the "Omote-Sando" Avenue. After crossing "Meiji-Dori" Street, you'll find a Wendy's on your left. Turn left at the Wendy's and look for a white signboard (saying "Basaraka" in Hiragana) put on the side street.
- Open until 23:00. I don't know when it opens. (I eat ramen only at night.)
- On the signboard I mentioned above, "Basaraka" is described as "Chikuho-Ramen," which is different from other ramens on this page. The soup is very creamy. Noodles are offered soft by default. Buy tickets first.

Yoshizumikun
- From a spacious crossing near the "kita-guchi" (north exit) of Naka-Itabashi Station (Tobu Tojo Line), go into the opposite direction of the railroad crossing. Turn left into the "Naka-Itabashi Eki-mae Dori" Street, and find a pink(?) building on your right at the next corner. It's on the second floor.
- From 18:00 to 2:00.
- The shop offers various seafood shown in glass cases, which is typical of "Yatai" (movable open-air bar) in Hakata. The thick noodles and the sugary soup may be suitable after drinking.

Barikote
- Naruse, Machida City. On "Naruse Kaido" Road (Prefectural Road #140, Kawasaki-Machida Line), next to a "Co-op Tokyo" near a "Yellow Hat". If you come from central Machida, it's on your right.
- Open until 23:00, closed on Mondays (basically). May be closed unregularly. (It is recommended to call beforehand.)
- Pretty good noodles and soup. The "cha-shu" (roast pork) is thin and melting (admirable!). They run a web page, so check it for the tel no., etc.

Kintaro
- A few signals past the "Umeshima Rikkyo" Trestle Bridge (Junction) on "Kan-Nana" Road clockwise (i.e. eastbound) in Adachi-ku. Across from a Denny's.
- 18:00 to 4:00. Open everyday.
- Not popular enough considering the taste. Near another ramen shop which might be more crowded. Thick noodles; order it hard-boiled. "Cha-shu" is good.
- Many thanks to Mr. Hasegawa Hiroki for comments. He always orders the noodles "Harigane" (wires; meaning extremely hard-boiled).

Yokaroumon
- From Kikukawa Station (Toei Shinjuku Line), go north along "Mitsume-Dori" Street, until you have crossed "Keiyo-Doro" Road at "Midori 3-chome" crossing, when you'll see it on the left. Otherwise, from the "minami-guchi" (south exit) of Kinshicho Station (JR Sobu Line), turn right to when you encounter "Keiyo-Doro" Road and Turn right at "Midori 3-chome" crossing. Going by car is not recommended.
- 11:30 to 15:00 and 17:00 to 2:30 on weekdays; 12:00 to 2:30 on Saturday and Sunday. Closed on Monday.
- I heard the owner originally worked for "Hakata Nagahama Ramen" in Shinbashi. Noodles are made at the same factory as Goten's.

Goten
- From the exit of Shimo-Igusa Station (Seibu Shinjuku Line), turn right twice and go across the railway crossing, and then turn right again. Turn left at the small supermarket you'll soon see on your left, and go straight for about 400 meters. When you meet "Shin-Ome Kaido" Road, you'll find it on your left.
- Under investigation; I think it opens at about noon.
- According to Mr. Nito, who regularly comes to Goten (thank you for the information!), the restarurant was opened by the first master of Nandenkanden.

Hakatatenjin
- Shibuya Branch: Enter a side street beside the "Sumitomo Bank" near "Tokyu Plaza," and turn right at the relatively large crossing. Shinjuku Branch: Between Shinjuku San-Chome and Shinjuku Gyoen-Mae of "Shinjuku-Dori" Street (under which Subway Marunouchi Line is running). Otsuka Branch (I think this is the first branch): Look around at the "kita-guchi" (north exit) of Otsuka Station (JR Yamanote Line).
- Under investigation.
- There are two types of noodles: "Goku-Boso Men" (extremely thin noodles) and "Chu-Buto Men" (medium-thick noodles). Locations are excellent (they are all near Yamanote Line stations).

Kyushu Jangara Ramen
- Among the variety of soups the restaurant offer, only "Bon-shan" is to my taste (and to the taste of lovers of other ramens on this page). Branches at Harajuku, Ginza and Akasaka (regrettably not Akihabara) offer "Bon-shan." Harajuku Branch is located on the crossing right in front of Harajuku Station (JR Yamanote Line) that leads to "Omote-Sando" Avenue. Ginza Branch is on the side street between Ginza 7-chome and Ginza 8 cho-me, between "Chuo-Dori" Avenue and "Showa-Dori" Road. Akasaka Branch is located on "Sotobori-Dori" Street, alongside of "Akasaka Tokyu Hotel."
- Under investigation.
- "Kaedama" is unavailable on the upper floor of Harajuku Branch. Be careful!

Marukin
- Shibuya Branch, probably the most accessible of all, is located on "Meiji-Dori" Street, between the "higashi-guchi" (east exit) of Shibuya Station (JR Yamanote Line) and Ebisu Station. If you walk from Shibuya, it's on your right. If you are driving on "Kan-Nana" Road counterclockwise (i.e. southward), go into the sideway at "Kamiuma" crossing (it's where "Kan-Nana" crawls under "Tamagawa-Dori", aka Route 246), and go straight. Then soon you'll find the Komazawa Branch. There also is a branch at "Tengenji-Bashi."
- Shibuya Branch is open from 11:00 to late at night. Other branches are under investigation.
- Noodles may be too soft by default.

- From the "kita-guchi" (north exit) of Ebisu Station, go east along "Komazawa-Dori" Street. When you encounter "Meiji-Dori" Street, go over the big pedestrian bridge and turn right to enter "Meiji-Dori" for Hiroo. Then you'll see it on your left soon.
- Open everyday from 11:00 till late at night.
- "Aka-maru" (red circle) means the new taste, "Shiro-maru" (white circle) the old one since ten years ago. I like "Shiro-maru". Has a branch in Shin-Yokohama Ramen Hakubutsukan (Museum).

- From the "nishi-guchi" (west exit) of Shinjuku Station, take the bus #51 for Shibuya Station. Get off at "Nishi-Sando" (I think it's the fourth stop but I'm not sure) and you'll see it. You could walk from Shinjuku Station, crossing "Shinjuku Chuo Koen" Park and turn left into "Junisou-Dori" Street, and look around at the backdoor of "Shinjuku Park Tower (Hyatt)."
- Under investigation.
- Furnished like a open-air bar in Hakata. Suitable after drinking at Park Hyatt.
